Pranab Mukherjee’s family members visit BIDAR temples



Family members of the United Progressive Alliance Presidential candidate, Pranab Mukherjee, visited temples in Bidar district on Thursday to pray for his victory. Mr. Mukherjee’s daughter-in-law Chitralekha Mukherjee and his grandson Arjun Mukherjee prayed at the Panchalingeshwar temple in Lingol village and Shambhulingeshwar temple in Rekulagi village. Their visit coincided with Mr. Mukherjee filing his nomination papers for the Presidential polls in New Delhi.

Bidar-based astrologer and Vastu consultant Narasareddy Bheemreddy accompanied them during the tour.

Members of Parliament H. Vishwanath and Haroon Rashid from Tamil Nadu, the former chairman of the Karnataka Literacy Mission B. Narayanrao, Congress leaders Keshavrao Talghatkar, Muralidhar Eklarkar and Rajkumar Singh Hazari were present. Mr. Mukherjee had visited the temple at Rekulagi in 2005.
